eVolt is an electric taxi service operating in Beirut, Metn and Keserwan, Lebanon. This policy explains what we collect when you book a ride, why, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
When you book a ride we collect your name, your phone number, your pickup address and destination, the date and time of the ride, and anything you tell us in the message — a flight number, a gate code, that you are travelling with a child.
When you book on WhatsApp, the conversation is also held on your phone and on WhatsApp's servers. That part is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not ours.
When you email us, we keep the email.
We keep a record of the fare for each ride and how it was paid.
Why We Collect It
Your name and phone number, so the driver can find you and reach you. Your pickup and destination, so we can send a car and agree the fare. The date and time, so we can run the service and answer questions about a ride afterwards.
Anything else you tell us, so the ride goes the way you need it to.
We do not use any of this to advertise to you, and we do not sell it.
Who Sees It
Your driver sees your name, phone number, pickup and destination. They need all four to complete the ride.
Our dispatch team sees the same, to assign and follow the booking.
WhatsApp carries the message if you book that way.
We share nothing else with anyone, except where the law requires it — a court order, or a police request we are legally obliged to answer. If that happens we will tell you, unless we are forbidden from doing so.
How Long We Keep It
We keep booking records for 12 months, and then delete them. Records we are required to keep for tax purposes are held for as long as the law requires and no longer.
Your Rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it for something.

Children
The service is not for children to book on their own. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Children travel with an adult who made the booking.
Security
Booking details are seen only by the dispatch team and the driver assigned to your ride. The phones and accounts we use are password protected, and access is removed when someone leaves.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top and, if the change matters, tell you the next time you book.
